Powertex Sportswear is a merchandising company in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, that focuses on offering full-service branded product solutions to a wide variety of clients. Since 1993, they’ve worked with many clients such as Leinenkigel’s, Jim Beam, Kubota Tractors, and many more.
I’m currently a designer on the creative team. My responsibilities include illustration, graphic creation, and collection production. The majority of my work includes creating branded goods such as shirts, hats, outerwear, and hard goods that represent and reflect the wants and needs of our clients.

Leinenkugel's
Leinenkugel’s is a popular MidWest beer brand located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. They have been our client for several years and I had the privilege to work on a collection for them for the summer of 2023 and into fall of 2023. Their visual identity is fun, energetic, and inviting and the main goal is to reflect this personality into the brand while presenting something new and unique. To accomplish this, I researched trending graphic styles and garment silhouettes to find what would suit Leine’s the best.
James B. Beam Distillery
The James B. Beam Distillery (JBBDCO) is a family of Bourbons started by the Beam family in 1795. Today, they have brands such as Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Baker’s Bourbon, Booker’s Bourbon, and Little Book Bourbon. Powertex started working with JBBDCO in 2022, and has since launched new merchandise for almost all of their brands. In 2023, I had the opportunity to dive into the world of bourbon and create a line of clothing and headwear that would be stay true to the individual identities of each sub brand.
Since each bourbon has such a well rounded visual look and feel, this was an excellent challenge to work within multiple brand books and guidelines in a single project. In the winter of 2023, the below pieces launched on the JDDBCO site as well as other garments created by my colleagues on the creative team!
Born & Raised Music Festival
Born & Raised Music Festival is a red dirt country focused festival based in Pryor, Oklahoma. At Powertex, we take on several music festival merchandise stands throughout the country. Generally, music festivals take on a large part of our team’s creative abilities and each year brings on new challenges for use to rise to as designers. In 2023, I had the opportunity to work with the Born & Raised team to help them bring their vision come to life. While the tees have since sold out, below are some snapshots of the final designs that were sent out!
